今集來到西營盤的中山紀念公園，看看佛教三角碼頭街坊盂蘭勝會，它自上世紀40年代已經開始舉行，舉行日子是逢農曆七月二十四到二十六日。

這個盂蘭勝會，除了展現到傳統盂蘭文化外，更展現了香港人靈活變通，擅於利用有限環境去展現最大可能性的做事風格。在一個包含天橋底在內，地方不大的球場內去辦一個需要容納一定人數的活動，就非常考驗主辦單位的策劃能力。

During the Lunar July, Hungry Ghost Festivals can be seen across Hong Kong. As an Intangible Cultural Heritage, each festival takes on a unique form depending on its district and organizing body.

In this episode, we visit Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park in Sai Ying Pun to explore the Sam Kok Mar Tou Yu Lan Festival. This festival has been held since the 1940s, taking place annually on the 24th to the 26th days of the seventh lunar month.

今集來到牛頭角區潮僑街坊盂蘭勝會，它正是其中一個在鬧市球場內舉辦的盂蘭勝會，來到今年，已經是第56屆，除了疫情那幾年停辦之外，否則是年年也有舉辦。牛頭角區潮僑街坊盂蘭勝會主要是在農曆七月初四至初六舉行，有興趣一睹香港這種獨有的傳統風貌，就要留意日子了。

Walking through the streets of Hong Kong during the lunar seventh month, you’ll notice that many public sports grounds in the city have been transformed into venues for the Yu Lan Festival (Hungry Ghost Festival). When these sporting venues, usually filled with athletes, suddenly become sites brimming with traditional characteristics and a touch of mystical ambiance, the atmosphere becomes truly special.

In this episode, we visit the Yu Lan Festival in Ngau Tau Kok. It is one such festival held right in the middle of a bustling urban sports ground. This year marks its 56th edition. This Yu Lan Festival is primarily held from the 4th to the 6th day of the lunar seventh month. If you’re interested in witnessing this unique traditional aspect of Hong Kong, be sure to note these dates.

傳統上踏入農曆七月，就是盂蘭月，在這個月，香港各區可見到有不同的盂蘭勝會。甚至中環，香港核中的核中，在這個商業味極重的區域，竟然也可以找到這項充滿傳統味道的活動，那就是在士丹頓街的卅間盂蘭勝會。

卅間盂蘭勝會，傳統上是在農曆七月二十四日舉行，換算為西曆，今年就是在8月27日舉行。其實自2020年疫情開始後，活動已經停辦，直至今年，會方才完全復辦，令到這個充滿特色的活動得以再次舉行。

伝統的に、旧暦の 7 月はお盆月であり、香港のさまざまな地区でさまざまなお盆の勝會が見られます。香港の中心地である中環（セントラル）の商業地域でも、伝統の香りあふれるアクティビティが実は的士丹頓街 (Staunton Street)で行われる「卅間お盆の勝會」です。

「卅間お盆の勝會」は伝統的に旧暦の7月24日に行われ、今年は8月27日に行われます。実際、このイベントは2020年の疫病発生以来中断されており、完全に再開されたのは今年になってから、このユニークなイベントが再び開催されることになった。

Traditionally, the seventh month of the lunar calendar is the Yu Lan month. In this month, different Yu Lan festivals can be seen in various districts in Hong Kong. Even in Central, the core of Hong Kong, in this highly commercial area, you can actually find this activity full of traditional flavor, which is the Yu Lan Festival which held by 30 Houses on Staunton Street.

This Yu Lan Festival is traditionally held on the 24th day of the seventh lunar month. Converted to the Western calendar, this year it will be held on August 27th. 盂蘭勝會是香港其中一個非物質文化遺產，過往每年的農曆七月，可以在不同地區見到在舉辦盂蘭勝會。然而過去三年，因為疫情關係，不少盂蘭勝會都停辦，或者將規模縮細，今年隨著疫情逐漸遠去，盂蘭勝會開始復辦。

今集節目，我們將去到筲箕灣，看看筲箕灣西灣河盂蘭勝會，這個活動差不多有一百年歷史。在香港的盂蘭勝會，分別有廣式和潮式，而筲箕灣西灣河盂蘭勝會是屬於廣式。今次我們將會在現場行一圈，大概看看現場的情況，及欣賞下紙紮的大士王，畢竟紙紮這門傳統手藝在盂蘭勝會中佔了很重要的位置。另外也會看看由全真教道士主持的破地獄儀式。

 卅間盂蘭勝會，其實在之前的集數有提過，舉辦地點就在PMQ 對出的士丹頓街，而日子就比較特別，是在農曆的七月二十四，而不是傳統的鬼門關大開的農曆七月十四日。

近兩年因為疫情關係，卅間盂蘭勝會一直停辦，所以我們都無法拍攝到相關的片段，不過最近編輯部就找到一些舊片段，是在2016年時拍攝，記錄了卅間盂蘭勝會的情況，趁著盂蘭月，就決定跟讀者們分享下。

片段入面可以見到卅間盂蘭勝會就在PMQ對出的士丹頓街舉行，期間沒有封路，汽車可以如常經過。士丹頓街話處Soho 區，是香港一個高度洋化的區域，附近酒吧與食肆林立，是很多外國遊客或居港外國人喜歡去消遣的地方，在此舉辦盂蘭勝會，感覺非常特別，只見大一班道士在誦經，街坊們則在化寶燒衣，外國遊客則因為好奇而駐足觀看，甚至舉機拍攝，中西兩種文化完美地融合在一起，既奇特但又沒有矛盾，這種華洋雜處的情況，是香港一大特色。

說回卅間盂蘭勝會本身，最高潮一刻是在尾聲時化大士，又叫燒鬼王，雖然片段內沒有記錄到化大士的情況，但就拍攝了拆下大士袍及將焚化的情況。

期等疫情過後，卅間盂蘭勝會會再次復辦，有機會的話我們再去拍攝，看看有什麼變化。

卅間お盆の勝會は、PMQ の反対側の士丹頓街 (スタントン ストリート)で開催されます。この日は、地獄の門が開く伝統的な 7 月 14 日ではなく、旧暦の 7 月 24 日という特別な日です。

過去 2 年間、疫病の影響でお盆の勝會が中断されたため、関連するクリップを撮影できませんでしたが、最近、編集部が 2016 年に撮影された古いクリップを発見し、その時の状況をいくつか記録しました。読者と共有することにしました。

Yu Lan Festival which held by 30 Houses, actually mentioned in the previous episodes, the venue is on Staunton Street opposite PMQ, and the day is more special, it is on the 24th of the seventh month of the lunar calendar, not the traditional On the 14th day of the seventh lunar month when the gate of hell is open.

In the past two years, due to the epidemic, the Yu Lan Festival has been suspended, so we were unable to shoot relevant clips, but recently the editorial department found some old clips, which were filmed in 2016. We decided to share it with the readers.

In the clip, you can see that the Yu Lan Festival was held on Staunton Street opposite the PMQ. There were no road closures during the period, and cars could pass by as usual. The Soho district of Staunton Street is a highly westernized area in Hong Kong. There are many bars and restaurants nearby. It is a place where many foreign tourists or foreigners living in Hong Kong like to spend time. It feels very good to hold the Yu Lan Festival here. In particular, I saw Taoist priests chanting sutras, neighbors making treasures and burning clothes, foreign tourists stopping to watch out of curiosity, and even taking pictures with their cameras. The two cultures of Chinese and the Western are perfectly integrated, which is peculiar but not contradictory. This kind of The miscellaneous situation of Chinese and foreign countries is a major feature of Hong Kong.
