Ten Thousand Buddhas Monastery which located in the in Sha Tin, there are five hundred arhats sitting on the mountain road. They are made of fiberglass and painted golden. Although some of them fade due to the sun and rain, they still do not detract from the ornamental value. All Arhats have different forms. If you want to take a selfie with each of them, it will definitely take a lot of time.
You can see the Sha Tin scenery below the mountain. In the same scene, there are tall buildings that are a symbol of the city, but the golden elephant of the Arhat in various forms is nearby. The things mentioned are perfectly integrated. This kind of landscape is the unique magic of Hong Kong.
Mid-levels Central is the best place to showcase the integration of Chinese and Western cultures. There are buildings with strong western flavors such as Tai Kwun and PMQ. At the same time, there are also many temples located here. This time, we will visit the Wu Temple and the People’s Temple. The Man Mo Temple was built approximately in the middle of the 19th century. Today’s Man Mo Temple complex is mainly composed of Man Mo Temple, Lit Shing Kung and Kung Sor.
After visiting Man Mo Temple, walk along the direction of Sheung Wan for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at Pak Shing Temple. Pak Shing Temple was originally named Kwong Fook I Tsz and was also built in the 19th century. In the early days of Hong Kong, many foreign Chinese workers came to work here. , They came to Hong Kong alone. So after death, most of them were buried in hastily. Some kind people couldn’t bear this situation, so they raised money to establish Kwong Fook I Tsz, mainly to provide funeral services for these Chinese workers.

These buildings have a long history, and some even have a history of over a hundred years. Their architectural styles are deeply Western. They are settled on the land of Hong Kong. The place where Chinese and foreign are mixed, exudes unique characteristics.
First we will go to Tai Kwun, which is located on Hollywood Road in Central, walk along the escalator and you will be able to reach Tai Kwun very soon. Tai Kwun is a complex composed of multiple buildings, including the Hong Kong Police Headquarters and the Central Police Station, the former Victoria Prison and the former Central Magistracy. It can be said to be a combination of Western-style government offices and prisons. After a ten-year revitalization project, the Tai Kwun reopened to the public in 2018. The current Tai Kwun, in addition to being a legal monument of Hong Kong, is also a contemporary art center.
